Air Medical Service on the Ground

When you call for air medical service, our case managers begin our structured procedures. When you initially place a call to us for air medical service, we do assess what type of medflight airplane and the level of health care professionals that will be required for the patient. We then coordinate the medical evacuation with all necessary air and ground transportation. Your case manager will ensure every detail is managed fully in order to be positive the patients’ air medical service is as comfortable and safe as possible. We will coordinate with other air managers and physicians at both the sending and receiving facilities so all those involved are well-informed.

Air Ambulance 1 Provides Worldwide Air Medical Transport

[Posted on Mar 26]

Air travel becomes more complicated when a person becomes disabled or develops a difficult medical condition that requires regular monitoring and treatment. Many of these people end up homebound and giving up many activities that they formally enjoyed, including traveling, especially via airplane. Air travel requires that passengers be healthy and able to sit upright during the plane’s take off and landing period, and chronically ill patients often require medical treatments that would interfere with regular flight plans. For these reasons, Air Ambulance 1 offers worldwide air medical transportation, allowing many of these people the ability to travel once again.

Air ambulance 1 is highly qualified to transport critically ill patients around the world in their state-of-the-art medically equipped fleet of jets, and they have years of experience behind them. All of their planes are equipped with high-tech medical devices and medical supplies that meet hospital standards and all pilots are certified and experienced. Aboard every air medical flight offered by Air Ambulance 1, certified medical staff will tend to the patients medical needs, including medical monitoring, administering medications via IV, interventional medical steps as needed, respiratory therapy, and more.

Many patients require medical treatment that may be specialized and only performed by a few doctors in the world. Air Ambulance 1 makes these medical procedures a reality for otherwise critically ill patients who may otherwise not be able to travel. The air medical flight team coordinates with a ground ambulance team, working in tandem to provide service for the patient with as little discomfort and inconvenience as possible. Patients will be transported directly from their home to an awaiting ground ambulance, which will then transport them to the air ambulance for their domestic or international medical flight.

Upon arriving at the medical destination, the patient will be once again transported to an awaiting ground ambulance which will take the patient directly to the hospital or medical facility where their specialized medical procedure is being performed. We make sure that all patients reach their destination in excellent physical condition, with stable vital signs and in good spirits. Air Ambulance 1 has operators standing by 24 hours a day to help patients or their loved ones set up medflight details. With Air Ambulance 1, rest assured that your loved one will be getting high-quality medical care in the air, and will be treated with the utmost care and kindness.
