Air Ambulance 1 Medical Teams are one of the most advanced medical teams in the industry. Our teams are required to follow the strict guidelines of our Medical Director David Gray. Each and every one of our medical teams is required to train specifically on each plane we use. When we hire a new medical personal to our Air Ambulance or Medical Escort departments, we require them to have proven experience in the Air Ambulance industry. We than tweak their knowledge into our guidelines.

The medical team is required to spend many hours of continued education yearly in order to maintain their medical licenses, Multiple CE's, offline and online classes are just a few to mention. A part of the rotation is to send our most experienced critical care personal along with the new trainee in order to give them the best training and supervision possible.

A U.S based pilot needs to go through extensive flight training before he/she is allowed to fly on an air ambulance plane. The FAA refers to the air ambulance pilots as an approved Air Taxi pilot who will need to get all the training expected of a commercial airline pilot. A part 135 pilot needs to have extensive experience in the specific type of Aircraft that they will fly.

The pilots and aircraft used have experience in flying commercial planes for many years, as well as going through special training specific to air ambulance flight operations.

In order to be able to control so many aspects of one patient’s medical transport, our Flight Coordinators train on new policies and procedures monthly. Through the guidance of the company's Chief Officer, Flight Coordinators receive updated information frequently so they are able to organize and control complete operations of the patient's transport without any issues.

Each month the Management Team reviews all patient's transport records and alerts the Flight Coordinators of any potential issues that may arise. The Flight Coordinator is required to prove his abilities to multi task and understand the patient needs at any time. Due to the fact that this is the key part of the Air Ambulance process the flight coordinators constantly receive supporting information, updates and assistance from the companies CEO.
