Air Ambulance 1 Medical Teams are one of the most advanced medical teams in the industry. Our teams are required to follow the strict guidelines of our Medical Director.

Each and every one of our medical teams are required to train specifically on each plane we use.

The medical team is required to spend many hours of continued education yearly in order to maintain their medical licenses .

A U.S based pilot needs to go through extensive flight training before he/she is allowed to fly on an air ambulance plane.

The FAA refers to the air ambulance pilots as an approved Air Taxi pilot who will need to get all the training expected of a commercial airline pilot.

The pilots used by Air Ambulance 1 have been flying commercial planes for many years, as well as going through special training specific to air ambulance flight operations.

In order to be able to control so many aspects of one patient’s medical transport, our Flight Coordinators train on new policies and procedures monthly.

Through the guidance of the company's Chief Officer, Flight Coordinators receive updated information frequently so they are able to organize and control complete operations of the patient's transport without any issues.

Each month the Management Team reviews all patient's transport records and alerts the Flight Coordinators of any potential issues that may arise.
