Air Ambulance 1 uses FAA approved light-weight, quick-change aircraft medical stretchers that are user-friendly and provide exceptional patient comfort.
Oxygen Capability: The stretcher systems include up to 50 PSI of control regulated oxygen with a quick connection to a ventilator, respirator or to a regular oxygen line offering a flow range of 0 to 15 liters per minute. Their main aluminum oxygen cylinder has normally a 3300 liters capacity. Besides of the oxygen, to help maintain a clear airway they also have on demand controlled suctioning and electrical inverters to plug any powered medical equipment needed during patient care.
Their frame is adaptable and fits to most aircraft configurations by using a simple mounting bracket. Most of our full life support stretcher systems weigh approximately 80 to 95 lbs. Some of our aircraft are capable of having dual stretchers which can individually accommodate up to two patients on the same aircraft.
These and more are some of the medical equipment provided to our medical personnel to concentrate solely on patient care.
